In our team HR Services Belgium, we provide HR master data, payroll and post-payroll services to our group companies in Belgium. In this position as HR Finance Specialist you will be responsible for the HR-related general ledger accounts and act as an important interface between Finance and HR payroll.
Job description
- You take ownership of all HR/payroll-related general ledger accounts.
- You prepare the monthly provisions and update these accordingly in SAP.
- You ensure correct processing of HR-related invoices (insurances, luncheon vouchers, training,…) and timely clear all related waiting accounts.
- You respond to ad hoc questions from your Finance and HR colleagues.
- You provide payroll-related information to Finance for the annual accounts and the corporate income tax declaration.
- Therefore, you are the connecting person between HR payroll and Finance and are in close cooperation with our local HR Business Partners in Belgium as well as our internal service departments in Berlin.
- You also collaborate in internal projects and encourage the best practice sharing amongst our European HR teams.
- You contribute to our quality and knowledge management by documenting all processes and relevant legal regulations in accordance with our high-quality standards.
Profile
- You have completed your university studies.
- You are fluent in English and Dutch, German is a plus.
- You have basic general accounting knowledge and at least one year work experience in the accounting field.
- You have experience or clear interest in managing HR related provisions and budgets.
- Towards customers you always present yourself in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Whilst working towards deadlines you demonstrate very strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Moreover, you are a proactive and entrepreneurial personality.
- You have experience with IT systems and good knowledge of Excel.
